L’isolement en secteur protégé : une expérience extrême. Une revue de la littérature

Résumé

Les auteures présentent la littérature anglophone et francophone sur : 1) les conséquences psychologiques d’une hospitalisation en secteur protégé ; 2) les dispositifs de soutien psychologique. Ce recensement participe à un projet de recherche-action dont l’objectif est double. Explorer le vécu des patients qui subissent une telle expérience extrême. Leur offrir un dispositif de soutien psychologique aux trois temps de la maladie : hospitalisation, sortie du secteur protégé, retour au domicile.

Abstract

The authors present a systematic review in English and French on: 1) the psychological consequences of hospitalization in protective isolation and 2) psychological support programs. This survey is part of a research-action project with a double objective: to explore the lived experiences of patients with haematological malignancies who undergo protective isolation during hospitalization; to offer them a psychological support program at each of the three stages of their illness: hospitalization, exit from protective isolation, back to home environment.
